The Detling Summer Conference is one of the three core areas of the work of Revival Fire Conferences Ltd.

Revival Fire Conferences Ltd exists to encourage, enable and equip the church for world revival.

To guide and govern our activities we measure ourselves against our core values:

We warmly welcome all exhibitors who are in sympathy with the vision and values of the organisation as stated above and agree with the Evangelical Alliance basis of Faith.

The aim of the Resources Centre at Detling is to provide a medium and materials - written, recorded and visual, that "Advance the Christian Faith and demonstrate the love of Christ to those in need".

We are generously supported by ICC Records and the Tonbridge Christian Resource Centres who supply most of the written and recorded media for the conference and, therefore, other exhibitors will not be permitted to sell or promote in a way that conflicts with the services provided by the aforementioned companies.

The Conference Directors reserve the right to refuse entry or remove from site any exhibitor who does not comply with these terms and conditions or whose behaviour falls beneath proper standards of conduct or who refuses any reasonable request made of them. The decision of the directors regarding any dispute arising will be final.

The Event

The event runs for six days between Saturday 8th and Thursday 13th of August 2009 and is held at the Kent County Showground at Detling near Maidstone. We are expecting around 5,000 delegates to visit over the course of the week from all over the country, particularly from the South East region as well as Europe.

Set up will be on Friday 7th August from noon and break down on the following Friday 14th, departing by 12 noon.

Stand Details

The space available will be 3m X 2m or multiples thereof and is supplied with a 13 amp power supply and will be carpeted. Display boards and tables etc may be used with lighting and audio visual equipment to create stands. These will be supplied by the exhibitor and comply with all relevant fire and safety regulations. Any electrical equipment must have a current PAT test certificate and comply with the latest electrical safety requirements. For electrical loads greater than 13 amp or multiple supplies a further charge will be made.

All bookings are taken on a first-come-first-served basis. Specific stand spaces can be requested but are only guaranteed after a booking has been made.

Charges

The cost for a space is £375 plus VAT which will be charged at 17.5%. The exhibitor can have up to 3 spaces. Additional spaces will be charged at a discounted price - £300 will apply to a second space, £275 will apply to a third space all plus VAT. The costs for supplying an additional 13 amp electrical supply will be £30 each. The provision of electrical supplies greater than 13 amps may be possible and charges will be on application, following discussion with our electrical contractor. Applications for this service must be made no later than the 30th June 2009.

The provision of telephone/internet points may also be possible and charges will again be on application following discussion with BT. Applications for this service must be made no later than 1st June 2009. Charges for calls, line rental and installation will be made.

A non-refundable booking fee of £100 is payable with all applications, full payment is required by 1st July 2009 and no cancellations after that date will be refundable. We appreciate your prompt payment. Any late payment will be subject to an additional fee. Please make cheques payable to Revival Fire Conferences Ltd and send payment to the Turkey Court office.

Exhibitors Representatives

Exhibitors must take full responsibility for their representatives whilst on site and will have taken up references for them whether they are paid or are volunteers. Representatives must be over 16 years of age. Up to two representatives may stay on site free of charge, (regardless of multiple stand bookings) bringing their own accommodation (tent, caravan or motor home - electrical hook ups will be charged at the standard rate of £8 per day); additional representatives will be charged at £25 per day or part thereof.

Insurance

In certain circumstances exhibitors may be required to show proof of public liability insurance, as Revival Fire Conferences Ltd cannot accept liability with regard to stands, equipment, fittings and fixings which remain the responsibility of the exhibitor. If you need to update your insurance cover, you will need to seek advice from a Financial Services Authority (FSA) approved advisor; we cannot give advice or make a recommendation. Promotional Material

Please provide Alison Baldwin, Coast Communications with a high quality jpeg of your logo by email for display in the conference brochure and two power point slides about your organisation to be displayed on our venue screens. Please note the deadline is 31 July 2009. Please note animated slide timings will be amended.

Detling TV

If you would like to play a promotional DVD up to five minutes in length on Detling TV, this costs £60 per day. This reaches the main conference audience of 2,000 people at least twice a day. The Conference Directors reserve the right to refuse requests to play DVD's. Bookings are taken on a first come first served basis. Contact Alison Baldwin for details.

If you would like to discuss a leaflet drop or inserting your leaflet into the Conference programme please contact Alison Baldwin. Costs from £60. The Conference Directors reserve the right to refuse requests. Bookings taken on a first come first served basis.
