If you haven't seen our new ads, check out our full page ad currently in Sorted, the mens magazine. Our new Detling Youth postcard is also attracting a lot of interest.

Coast to Coast Walk - April 2010

Coast to Coast WalkWe mentioned last month that on Tuesday 6th April, as part of a fundraising effort for People Without Limits, a team of Detling stewards were leaving St. Bees Head, on the Irish Sea coast of Cumbria to arrive in the village of Robin Hood’s Bay on the North Sea coast of Yorkshire 12 days later.

Well, the team endured inclement weather, sore limbs but kept their spirits high and completed the walk on schedule, triumphant and elated. Photos taken during the 12 day trek are available to view on the team’s dedicated Facebook site.

It's not too late to support the ministry of PWL and donate online through www.justgiving.com/coast2coast-detling.
