Detling eNews - April 2010 Dear friends and supporters, Welcome to the April edition of the People without Limits eNews. We've been busy booking more speakers for what is going to be a truly amazing Detling 2010. In the last month, we have confirmed Andy Hawthorne, from the Message Trust and Gerard Kelly from the Bless Network. Easter Monday Youth Pilgrimage - 5th April 2010, 12pm As part of the annual Easter celebrations, several churches within the Canterbury diocese take part in pilgrimages across the Canterbury area, culminating in a celebration at the cathedral. This year, the Detling band will be leading worship at this special event with guest speaker, Russell Rook, CEO of chapelstreet.org. The Coast to Coast is unique among Britain's long distance footpaths, in being entirely the invention of one man - Alfred Wainwright. The route covers the finest walking ground in the North of England - the National Parks of the Lake District, the Yorkshire Dales and the North York Moors. Please support this amazing trek that some of our stewards are undertaking by donating online through www.justgiving.com/coast2coast-detling. You can also follow their progress during the 12 days on the dedicated Facebook site. Christian Resources Exhibition, Esher, Surrey People without Limits will be promoting the Detling Summer Celebration at the International CRE at Sandown Park, Esher, Surrey between the dates of Tuesday 11th and Friday 14th May. The Awakening - All Saints, Lydd, 28th March
The event was also to launch Fred Revell's Deanery walk. Starting on Monday 29th March, Fred (who can often be found manning the day gate entrance at the Detling Summer Celebration) plans to walk to 30 churches in the Romney deanery to ask God to bring revival and unity in the deanery.
