Welcome to the April edition of the People without Limits eNews.

We've been busy booking more speakers for what is going to be a truly amazing Detling 2010. In the last month, we have confirmed Andy Hawthorne, from the Message Trust and Gerard Kelly from the Bless Network.

Easter Monday Youth Pilgrimage - 5th April 2010, 12pm

As part of the annual Easter celebrations, several churches within the Canterbury diocese take part in pilgrimages across the Canterbury area, culminating in a celebration at the cathedral. This year, the Detling band will be leading worship at this special event with guest speaker, Russell Rook, CEO of chapelstreet.org.

Coast to Coast Walk - April 2010

On Tuesday 6th April 2010, as part of a fundraising effort for People without Limits, a team of 5 Detling stewards will start the Coast to Coast walk from St Bees Head, on the Irish Sea coast of Cumbria. The target is to arrive in the village of Robin Hood's bay on the North Sea coast of Yorkshire on Saturday 17th April - a distance of 196 miles in 12 days.

The Coast to Coast is unique among Britain's long distance footpaths, in being entirely the invention of one man - Alfred Wainwright. The route covers the finest walking ground in the North of England - the National Parks of the Lake District, the Yorkshire Dales and the North York Moors.

Christian Resources Exhibition, Esher, Surrey

People without Limits will be promoting the Detling Summer Celebration at the International CRE at Sandown Park, Esher, Surrey between the dates of Tuesday 11th and Friday 14th May. If you are attending the exhibition, come and see us!

Live Like You Mean It

Eric's new book, released in March is now available to buy. Released through Hodder and Stoughton, the book is available to purchase at a price of £11.99.

The Awakening - All Saints, Lydd, 28th March

Eric and the Detling band went to the 'Cathedral of the Marsh' on Sunday 28th March for a special Awakening event for the deanery of Romney, attended by over 100 people. Many ministers and representatives were part of the service and hearts were crying out for the Prodigals. A special report of the event has been commissioned and will be posted on the Awakening website soon.

The event was also to launch Fred Revell's Deanery walk. Starting on Monday 29th March, Fred (who can often be found manning the day gate entrance at the Detling Summer Celebration) plans to walk to 30 churches in the Romney deanery to ask God to bring revival and unity in the deanery.
