Eric Delve

Eric Delve

Eric Delve is the founder and Chairman of both the Spirit and the Bride Trust and Revival Fire Conferences Ltd, the vision for which was received in 1998 and began in real form with a number of small conferences and celebrations that culminated with the first Detling Summer Conference in 2000.

He was ordained in 1989, after spending over twenty years as an itinerant evangelist in this country and abroad. After serving several parishes he became the Vicar and team leader of St Luke's, Maidstone in 1996, which he continues to serve as parish priest. Through his Art of Leadership company Eric still travels a good deal, leading conferences and events for leaders through "Twelve Principles of Leadership" and for men with "Echoes in Eternity".

Eric has been married to Pat for over forty years and has six children and four grandchildren and a menagerie of cats and dogs!

Eric's principal role for the Trust is as guardian of its vision to "advance the Christian Faith and demonstrate the love of God to those in need" and, for Revival Fire, to be the leading guide of its spiritual direction.

Helen Bailey - Conference Director

Helen Bailey

She is a Member of the Chartered Management Institute and has a particular interest in people development and processes. Her main areas of responsibility for Revival Fire are in the areas of children and youth, conference administration and team management.

Helen is currently a member of St Luke's Church and a Life Group Pastor.

Sarah is a qualified public finance accountant and has worked for a variety of organisations including Kent County Council and one of the 'big four' accountacy firms. In her current position she heads up the internal audit team of the largest private healthcare provider in the UK, evaluating and advising on controls and risk management within hospitals.

Sarah is married to Pete and they attend St Luke's church, Maidstone.

Helen Gallagher - Administration & Support Manager

Helen Gallagher
Administration & Support Manager

Helen joined the team in March 2006 as the Administration & Support Manager. Together with the Administration Assistant they provide the day to day customer service and administration support for the conference.

Before joining Revival Fire, Helen managed various teams for the Magistrates Courts Service and Local Government, experiences which have equipped her to take on her current role.

Helen is married to Matt and they attend St Luke's Church, Maidstone where Helen is the Worship Co-Ordinator

Hazel White - Administration & Volunteers Co-Ordinator

Hazel White
Administration & Donor Support Administrator

Hazel works for Revival Fire four days a week, as Administration Assistant and Donor Support Co-ordinator.

Hazel has worked in administration for more years than she cares to remember, lives in Boughton Monchelsea, is married to Nigel, now semi-retired, and they have two grown up sons, Andrew (married to Pam), & Jonathan. She is an active member of Christ Church, Parkwood in Maidstone where she takes minutes for the PCC and also leads worship with Nigel.

Gay Thatcher

Gay Thatcher
Administration & Volunteers Co-Ordinator

Gay Thatcher joined the team in April 2007, and is now our Volunteer Co-ordinator. She currently works 3 days a week but as it gets busier the nearer we get to the Conference, this rises to full-time from May through till October. She is a qualified Reflexologist, taking clients in the evenings and on her days off. Husband Alan works in sport for a national newspaper, and they have two grown-up children James and Laura. She and Alan attend St Luke's Church, Maidstone and with others from the church they regularly visit a local centre for homeless 16-24 year olds called Trinity Foyer to befriend and support the young people.

Allan Dyke

Allan Dyke

Allan came as a volunteer in the run-up to Detling 2007, and hasn't completely got away yet. He works in the office two days a week, rising to four days a week in the run up to the conference then, like the rest of the team, he works nine days a week during the conference itself.

During the spare days in the week Allan is working to set up and operate Medway Street Pastors.

With a varied career background including paper making, producing exibition stands, project management and IT support, a generous redundancy deal has allowed Allan to do what he describes as "something useful for a change" - assisting Stuart with his contracts and infrastructure responsibilities.

Allan is an Elder at the Vines United Reformed Church in Rochester. He is married to Ruth, and they have three children - Hannah, Sam and Jessie.
