The Spirit and the bride Trust
The Spirit and the Bride is a charity (registration No. 1081762) which was set up in 1999 with the aim of "Advancing the Christian Faith and demonstrating the love of Christ to those in need".
The Trust is the main fundraising body for the work of Revival Fire, Eurofire and All Saints Praise, which enables the organisations to offer many free events in this country and abroad and also provides a subsidy for the Detling Summer Conference. It also provides assisted places for those who require financial help in paying conference fees and free places for church ministers and leaders.
Funds are also distributed to various Christian and secular projects, locally within Kent as well as nationally and worldwide. Each year the Trust selects three or four projects which it funds from a tithe of the offerings at the Detling Summer Conference, among them have been grants going towards:
- crime reduction
- offender rehabilitation
- youth education on gun and knife crime
- the Jade crossing (a bridge over the A249 near Detling)
- defibrillators
- Compassion UK
- The Christian Blind Mission
- Armonia
- Iris Ministries
- Worldvision
- Toybox
Fundraising takes place throughout the year at special events, through mailings and e-mailings and we have a growing database of regular monthly givers or Partners. Donations can be made on-line or by telephone using a debit or credit card or by sending a cheque to our mailing address.

Fundraising Supper on HMS Gannet
 On Wednesday 7th May friends and supporters of the Detling Summer Conference met on HMS Gannet in Chatham Dockyard for a fundraising supper.
